12/20/06 - We've got ice, the houses are out and the fish are biting!
The Northwest Angle, Lake of the Woods is the place to be for outstanding ice fishing!
We look forward to seeing you this year! I will do my best to keep
the report up to date this winter season.
1/7/07 - Well I am a little late with the report but the fishing has
been very good with the hottest action in the afternoon. I haven't
got a chance to get many pictures yet but here are a couple from today.
There was a 28.5 caught a couple of days ago that I hope to get a picture
of soon. You can bet you will find fish on the Northwest Angle,
Lake of the Woods!


1/10/07 - The walleye action has been good with some shuffling of the
houses to increase the action. We have had mixed action with some
houses doing better than others. We had a 42" northern pike caught
yesterday and it is on its way to being mounted. Northwest Angle
Fishing!
1/18/07 - The fishing has been great over the last couple of days.
Fish are being caught on the mud flats. Several slot fish were
caught yesterday as well as limits for all. Fish the Northwest
Angle, Lake of the Woods!
 
1/23/07 - The action has really picked up over the last week with the
larger fish being caught on the reefs. We had a 27.5 inch
yesterday and several 20 inch fish caught. Daily limits have been
the norm. The jumbo perch are moving in as well. The
Northwest Angle, Lake of the Woods is the place to be for jumbo perch and walleye!


1/27/07 - The fishing has been great! Many big fish being caught
at the Northwest Angle, Lake of the Woods.
Pink or Red frosty lures have been getting the best action.

1/29/07 - The cold front slowed it down a touch but we are back in the
fish again! The fishing has been good along both sides of Little
Oak island, Northwest Angle, Lake of the Woods. The frosty lures are out producing other lures at a
fair margin. Here are some more recent pictures.





01/30/07 - Fishing is great with large fish being caught and many
limits! Check out the fish and today's wildlife shot! Fish
