Lake of the Woods ice fishing or snowmobiling or just plain relaxing you

Our bombardier
driver and keeper of the ice fishing houses, Robert Carlson, "R.C.", will
provide your ride out in the morning. He's becoming famous in his
"foxy" hat, (tail included). He'll make your daily ride out to the
ice fishing holes
an experience in itself. A bombardier is a heated, tracked vehicle that can transport up
to twelve passengers. Each foam insulated ice fishing house has eight holes for four
fisherman, measuring 8'x12', and has vented gas heaters and gas lights. |

Most of our Northwest Angle ice fishing is done on the reefs south of Oak Island,
producing lots of walleye, sauger and jumbo perch. If you like ice fishing in a secluded,
relaxed atmosphere, Lake of the Woods Ice Fishing is the place! Besides excellent Lake of the
Woods ice fishing far from the crowds,
you'll enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Northwest Angle in the winter. |
| You've went snowmobiling Yellowstone and the Black Hills - now, try
snowmobiling Lake
of the Woods. It offers over 300 miles of snowmobiling trails. The Northwest Angle is centrally located
on Lake of the Woods, so make us your starting point. Side trips might include a run south across
the lake to Warroad's Casino or enjoy the beauty of the Canadian islands as you head north
to Kenora, Falcon Lake, Morrison, Sioux Narrows, etc. Also, we are adjacent to the Can-Am
Trail which leads to Winnipeg. Detailed snowmobiling maps of the area are available. If snowmobiling isn't your thing then bring your cross-country skis and try out our local trails.
Even though they are not groomed, the terrain is flat, so it is excellent for beginning
skiers.
Our winter accommodations include four cabins and four apartment
units, all of which have electric heat and are fully furnished. Outdoor plug-ins for your
vehicles are available, along with a heated fish-cleaning building.
